Writing messages is very easy. News can easily be created in different languages. All news entries have a teaser text, and can also contain a detailed text, eliminating the need to create pages for detailed news.
Images can be added comfortably and easily to both the list and detail view. Additionally these images will be resized, if you want. So there’s no need to do this with an external application.
Important messages can be highlighted by making them sticky, so they are always at the top of the list. Additionally, you have the possibility to give entries publishing dates, enabling you to have the entry displayed for only a certain amount of time. Furthermore, the news entries can be categorized and modules can be modified to show only selected categories. Old news entries are automatically archived and can be displayed, if desired.
